Pad Transformers are made in power ratings from around 500 to around 10000 kVA and often include built-in fuses and switches.
The Liquid-Filled Loop Feed Pad Mounted Transformer is an oil-filledthree-phase, commercial pad mounted distribution transformer specifically designed for servicing such underground distribution loads as shopping centers, schools, institutions and industrial plants. lt is available in both live front and dead front construction, for loop feed applications. with or without taps. The transformer uses aluminum or copper winding and is optimized to maximize efficiency and footprint. lt has many advantages: such as high voltage, no drifting of neutral point, low loss small volume, cost-effective, safety and environment protection. attractive appearance and etc.
Our Liquid-Filled Loop Feed Pad Mounted Transformer is designed andtested in accordance with industry standards (including ANSIC.57.DOE, and IEEE) as applicable.
The low voltage winding adopts the whole section of copper foil, which is wound on the special low-voltage foil winding machine with the F-grade insulation. The foil coil solves the outstanding problems such as low voltage, high current coil winding, high short-circuit stress, unbalanced ampere turns, poor heat dissipation effect, windingspiral angle, unstable manual welding quality and so on. At the same tim-e, the winding ends of our company aresealed with resin, cured and formed, moisture-proof and antifouling. The lead copper bar is automatically welded byargon arc welding.
• Loadbreak high-voltage bushing inserts or externally clamped integral (one piece) high-voltage bushings for dead-front applications.
• Externally-clamped porcelain high-voltage bushings with eyebolt connectors for live-front applications.
• Low-voltage connectors, including various screw-on or slip-on types.
• Lightning arrester mounting provisions.
• Externally operable non-loadbreak high-voltage tap switch with one of the following tap ranges: four 2.5%taps above normal; or four 2.5% taps below normal; or two 2.5% taps above and two 2.5%taps below normal; or taps at13800/13200/12870/ 12540 for transformers with a nominal high-voltage rating of 14400 (may not be available in combination with dual high-voltage switch).
• Externally operable dual high-voltage switch (may not be available in combination with high-voltage tap switch).
• Externally operable two-position or four-position high-voltage loadbreak switch.
• Secondary termination:Externally clamped bushings with NEMA 4-hole, 6-hole, 8-hole, 10-hole or12-hole spades Spade supports are available. They are provided for 8-hole spades and larger.
• Draw-out full-range current limiting fuses in dry-well canisters; with or without interlocking loadbreak switch.
• Arc Strangle* fused disconnect.
• under-oil, elbow, or panel-mounted types (panel-mounted types are available on compartmental live-front units only).
• Drip shields for use with draw-out expulsion fuse.
• High capacity pressure relief device mounted on tank cover.
• Drain valve with sampling device.
