Transposed wire is mainly used in the winding of large oil immersed power transformers,reactors and large capacity dry-type transformers.

Continuously Transposed conductors(CTC)is the important material for transformer winding.It has the advantage of well using of space, low eddy current loss, high mechanical strength and less time of coil winding.

 The transposed conductor is a winding wire made of a certain number of enamelled flat wires arranged in two columns and continuously prepared by special process and wrapped by specific insulating materials. It is mainly used for manufacturing windings of large oil-immersed power transformers, reactors and large capacity dry-type transformers. The use of transposed wires to manufacture transformers improves the space utilization of windings, reduces the volume and costs, and more importantly, reduces the additional loss of circulating current and eddy current caused by leakage magnetic field. At the same time, it has the advantages of improving the mechanical strength of the winding and saving the winding time.

 

        Continuous transposed conductor is an important material for manufacturing transformer winding. It has the advantages of high space utilization, low eddy current loss, high mechanical strength, and less winding time of coil.
